Our Success Coaches guide student-athletes through academic planning, college readiness, study skills, and personal development. They ensure each student has a clear pathway toward higher education and the support needed to stay on track.
Athletic Development Specialists
These are experienced coaches and trainers who understand the balance between academics and athletics. They provide structured, age-appropriate player development that builds confidence, discipline, and competitive skill.
Program Directors & Support Staff
From managing daily operations to supporting families, our directors ensure AAO remains organized, transparent, and accountable. They connect with schools, coaches, and community partners to create opportunities for our athletes.

Our mission
Academic Athletic Opportunities exists to break financial and systemic barriers for student-athletes by pairing academic preparation, athletic development, and targeted financial support. We believe that when a young person has the talent, work ethic, and desire to grow, money should never be the reason they don’t move forward.
Our history
Academic Athletic Opportunities was created after seeing too many talented athletes graduate high school with college-level ability but no college plan. Some didn’t have the GPA. Some didn’t have the exposure. Many simply didn’t have the money.
AAO was formed to close those gaps—one student, one scholarship, one opportunity at a time.
